Cranberry Cream Cheese Appetizers

Easy and delicious, these little nuggets can be made to just the right size for your occasion.

Ingredients

  • 4 oz cream cheese
  • 1 pkg puff pastry sheets
  • 1/4 C red pepper jelly (green works, too.)
  • 1 bag fresh cranberries
  • 1 C sugar
  • 1 C water

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 425 degrees. In medium saucepan, bring sugar and water to boil. Add cranberries and cook 10 minutes
  • Let cool and gel. Add pepper jelly and stir. Set aside to cool.
  • Thaw puff pastry. Using 1 sheet, cut into 9 squares
  • Spray muffin tin with cooking spray. Gently mold each square into muffin tin.
  • Cut cream cheese block lengthwise, then cut a pad and place in each pastry. (Approx. 1 t)
  • Once cranberry sauce is cooled and thickened, dollop a heaping teaspoon over each pad of cream cheese.
  • Bake for approximately 9 minutes.
    Note: You may also want the smaller variety. Just use a mini muffin tin and place ingredients accordingly. Enjoy!
