Ingredients
2.5lbs boneless chicken breast or thighscut into bite-sized pieces
1/2Csoy sauce
2clovesgarlicminced
4tTHM Super Sweet Blendor sugar-alternative of your choice
3Trice vinegar
4Twater
1/2tcrushed red pepper flakes
2Tsesame oil
2torange extract
1/2tglucamannon
1/2tsesame seeds
Instructions
Mix all the sauce ingredients except the glucomannan in a medium saucepan, and bring to a simmer. Sprinkle in the glucomannan while whisking vigorously to almost the desired thickness. The sauce will thicken as it simmer.
Cook the chicken. Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium heat and add the chicken pieces. You may need to cook it in two batches, so make sure to divide the coconut oil appropriately. Cook the chicken, turning once to cook evenly on both sides, for approximately 10 minutes, or until cooked through.
Pour the sauce over the chicken and allow to simmer for a few minutes. Sprinkle with sesame seed, if desired.
Serve with steamed broccoli or on a bed of shredded cabbage.
