boneless skinless chicken breasts1 half per person
jalapenoscut in half and seeded, 1 half per serving
bacon1 piece per serving cooked or grilled to crispness
4ozcream cheese
smoky paprikacayenne, or Tabasco for seasoning
sharp cheddar cheese1 slice per serving
Instructions
Grill the chicken, seasoning with salt and pepper, garlic powder and onion powder.
Grilled the jalapenos until somewhat blackened and cooked through.
While the chicken and peppers are cooking, place the cream cheese in the microwave for about 15 seconds or until it is warm enough to spread easily. Season with smoky paprika, cayenne, or hot sauce to make it as spicy as you like!
When chicken is cooked through, spread a few teaspoons of the cream cheese on top of each chicken breast.
Top with one half of a jalapeno, one slice of bacon, and one slice of cheddar.
Continue grilling with grill cover closed until the cheese is melted.
