Preheat oven to 450 degrees
Cut the sour cream into the 2 cups baking biscuit mix.
Stir in 1/2 cup 7 up, the dough will be very soft.
Sprinkle about 1/3 cup to 1/2 cup baking mix onto your work surface. Gently knead the dough until coated with mix and pat dough flat. Using a biscuit cutter or the top of a glass and cut dough into 9 circles.
Pour melted butter into the bottom of a 8x8" baking dish covering entirely. Place biscuits on top of melted butter.
Bake apprx 12-15 minutes until starting to brown and cooked through.
