Easter (Chocolate Covered Strawberry) Carrots

Ingredients
  • 1 lb large strawberries rinsed and drained
  • 12 oz white chocolate morsels
  • orange food coloring
  • canola oil as needed
Instructions
  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Add white chocolate over double broiler and stir continuously until melted. Add a few drops of canola oil to thin out the consistency. Add orange food coloring to melted chocolate until desired color.
  3. Dip each strawberry into the chocolate, leaving the stem uncovered, then place on lined baking sheet to dry. Dip a spoon into the chocolate and drizzle over top of the strawberries to make lines to resemble a carrot.
  4. Place tray of dipped strawberries into refrigerator until chocolate hardens. (10-15 minutes)
  5. Store in air tight container in refrigerator until time to serve. Enjoy!
