Ingredients
  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F
  • Filling:
  • 1 C raisins
  • 1 C water
  • 1 C sugar
  • 1 T flour
  • 1 T butter
  • 1 T vanilla
  • Dough:
  • 1 C brown sugar
  • 1 c margarine
  • 2½ C quick oatmeal
  • 2 C flour
  • 1 t. baking soda
Instructions
  1. For filling:
  2. In a medium saucepan, add raisins, water and white sugar. Cook over medium heat for 10 minutes, until raisins become plump. Take off heat and add a T each of flour, vanilla and butter.
  3. While filling is cooking mix together in mixing bowl the brown sugar, margarine, oatmeal, flour and soda.
  4. Spread ½ oatmeal mixture in a 9 x 13 baking dish, sprayed with cooking spray. Spread/pour onto mixture the filling; spread the rest of oatmeal mixture over top of filling. Bake 30 minutes at 350 degrees.
