Crockpot Chicken Drumsticks
 
 
Delicious meal with little prep. Perfect for a busy weekend or holiday.

Ingredients
  • 4.5 lbs bone in, skin on chicken drumsticks
  • 1 T brown sugar
  • 1 T paprika
  • 1 t garlic powder
  • 1 t onion powder
  • 1 t dry mustard
  • ¼ t cayenne pepper
  • salt and pepper
  • 1¾ cups Barbecue sauce
Instructions
  1. Combine seasonings and sugar and pour into a gallon size baggie.
  2. Place your chicken in the bag a few at a time and shake to coat
  3. Place coated chicken in your crockpot (will most likely overlap)
  4. Drizzle with ¾ cup of your favorite BBQ and toss to coat
  5. Cover and cook on low for apprx 4-6 hours.
  6. Cover baking sheet with foil and spray with cooking spray
  7. Arrange chicken on prepared baking sheet
  8. Brush with ½ cup of BBQ sauce and broil 2-5 minutes until chicken is crisp and slightly charred
  9. Turn chicken legs to opposite side and brush with remaining BBQ sauce and broil for an additional 2-5 minutes until crisp and slightly charred.
