BBQ Pulled Pork

Ingredients
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1 12 oz. can Dr. Pepper
  • 1 bottle of your favorite barbeque sauce
  • Lowry's seasoning salt
  • pepper
  • 1 (3-4lb.) boneless pork loin
Instructions
  1. Put sliced onions on the bottom. Rinse pork loin and pat lightly with paper towels. Coat pork with Lowry's salt and some pepper. Place on top of onions.
  2. In a medium sized bowl, mix ½ bottle of barbeque sauce and can of Dr. Pepper. Pour on top of seasoned pork loin in crock pot.
  3. Cover the crock pot an and cook on low for about 7-8 hours, or until meat is tender. Then, carefully remove the pork out of the pot and place and shred the meat up using two forks. I added the remaining (1/2 bottle) shredded pork. Place meat back in the crock pot, stirring to combine and let cook for another 30 minutes.
  4. Serve on buns and enjoy!
