Blueberry Muffins

- ½ c. butter, softened
- 1¼ c. sugar
- 2 eggs
- ½ c. milk
- 2 c. flour
- 2 t. baking powder
- ½ t. salt
- 2 - 2½ c. fresh blueberries
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
- Cream together butter and sugar.
- Add eggs one at a time.
- In another bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Blend alternately with the milk.
- Fold in blueberries.
- Add paper cups in muffin tins.
- Pour in batter about ⅔ full.
- Sprinkle tops of muffins with sugar before baking.
- Let cool on wire rack.
