Mini Apple Pies

Ingredients
  • 1 premade pie crust
  • 3 large apples, peeled and chopped
  • ¾ cup of sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp nutmeg
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 1 Tbs melted butter
  • Topping:
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • ¼ cup flour
  • 2 Tbs melted butter
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  2. Mix apples and sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt and butter together and set aside.
  3. Roll out pie crust and use a round cookie cutter (or rim of drinking glass) to cut out 12 mini pie crusts
  4. Place crust into lightly oiled muffin tins with edges coming up along side of each spot.
  5. Evenly fill the 12 crusts with the apple filling.
  6. Evenly cover the 12 mini pies with the brown sugar topping
  7. Back approx. 20 minutes at 350 degrees until crust has a gold brown appearance
